The hike is through the woods and suitable at every weather, rain or heat. Every time we arrive at the hut the owner and staff gives a warm welcome. The food is typical to the region, always fresh prepared and excellent!
Stopped by just because it was on the trail, and had the best apple almond Torte I can ever remember eating. The dinner that was served at a neighboring table looked and smelled wonderful, but we needed to continue on the trail.
Recommended Knodel soup Schnitzel best so far on this trip also I had the starter Shepherds pie(not what you think) it's Rigatoni with meat peas in a tomato cream sauce also Spazzle with ham and cream sauce both excellent.
This was a good place to stop, rest and get a bite to eat while hiking. The waitress didn't speak much English, but she tried. We had pancake soup and it hit the spot. We ate on the picnic tables outside and enjoyed the fresh air and scenic beauty. It was just a good little place for what it was. We were glad it was there!
After a nice climb, we arrive at this bean in the middle of the mountains....just the real hut, very kind staff, super good and abundant dishes. small musical entertainment with accordion, space for children's games. fast service and good account
