Guaco Taco - Cedar Park

Rating the Cedar Park location 3 stars due to mixed experiences. The first time we went was three days ago during a thunderstorm. The cashier was a super sweet woman who even offered complementary drinks due to the wait! Service and food were awesome and we had a wonderful experience for our first visit! Come back two days later, completely different vibe and staff. I was the only one in the restaurant and stood at the register for a few minutes while workers were laughing

I never ordered tacos before but I was in the mood for something different today. Both my husband and I really enjoyed the food (we took it to go). We will definitely be back!

The tacos are delicious and generously filled with a variety of flavorful ingredients. I was extremely pleased with both my meal and the service provided by the staff. It's a fantastic spot for a quick and satisfying lunch.

We had a truly disappointing experience this evening. Firstly, it seems this restaurant struggles to manage larger groups. We had only 9 people—7 adults and 2 children—and the staff appeared overwhelmed and stressed while attending to our table. The waiter took over 20 minutes just to take our straightforward order. To make matters worse, food began arriving before we had even finished ordering, which meant that no one at the table could eat together. We had to ask multiple times for...

The tacos are fantastic! However, I wouldn’t recommend ordering the shrimp gumbo on its own. The portion is quite small for over $7, comparable to a typical side soup at other restaurants. I probably won’t order it again, but definitely go for the tacos—plus, the combos that include gumbo offer much better value!
