Went here on a whim whilst visiting London. The staff were good and polite. Restaurant was very quiet, only 2 or 3 tables used. I ordered garlic doughballs with mozzarella for starters, pepperoni pizza for main and gelato for dessert. 3 courses for £20.95. I also had a peroni reserve and a pint of draught becks. Yes I was hungry. The food was served quickly and tasted lovely. Just how I like it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the waitress was quite assertive about the optional 15% tip. I was using a voucher which had enough for 10% and as I was not given service that was above and beyond I left it at that. She was not impressed. But I would definitely go there again.
Lovely food, as always at Bella Italia, and a pleasant restaurant. Very conveniently placed for multiple London sights and theatres. Efficient, friendly staff.
I wanted to complain about the person who attended me, she says her name is Andrea. If you’re on vacation with good mood, absolutely the worst thing that could happen is dealing with someone disrespectful and who treats you very bad! The place is expensive, then you expect a very good experience, but this was not. If the owner of this restaurant sees this message, it would be good to fire this person who clearly does like working and scares it’s customers. Btw, the food is good.
This is one of the Bella Italia branch that really serves good pasta, you actually get what you pay for. Proper portioning and good taste. However the staff who greeted us seems in a bad mood. She was quite a bit intimidating as while she was serving the food she actually drop the food recklessly which is disappointing. We did not complain as we assuming that she was just tired. Definitely would give a 5 star if she could be a bit nicer.
