The Hawthorne Inn - Labadie

Whenever I’m in the area, this is one of my must go to places. The food is always delicious and I’ve never been disappointed.

Food was good, but our server forgot about us twice. We almost had to go looking for her to get the bill. We liked the atmosphere until they started vacuuming over an hour before they closed. I don't even think you can legally run a powered vacuum in restaurant while people are eating as it can put dust into the air PLUS it was super annoyingly loud. We couldn't hear the conversation at our table over the noise of the vacuum! How disappointing!

We met family here at Hawthorne Inn in Labadie, MO. I actually worked here when it first opened many years ago. Wish I could have talked to Chris and Cathy, but they were off. I had Fettuccine Christoper, which I have always loved. My husband had the Grilled Grouper. As it was 30 years ago, the food was delicious. Drinks were very good, and our server Emily was very nice and accommodating. Food came out fast. It's just an all-around great experience. I missed that amazing bar from the old restaurant but this new one is very nice and super clean. If you haven't been, its a must go-to place. We will be back but not as long this time.

Extremely friendly and professional waitress, she was just incredible. I wish I could remember her name. Food was perfectly cooked and pricing was surprisingly affordable. Hands down the best restaurant in the area!

You can never go wrong at the Hawthorne! I have tried so many different menu items and each one is amazing, making it difficult to choose what to order. The service is always excellent and I never leave disappointed!
