I had been looking for a place to get shaved ice like I experienced when I lived in Arkansas. I found it and more at Mars. Great ice cream and milkshakes as well!
The strawberry cheesecake with extra creme is awesome!!!
Amazing food and desert. The people there are always friendly
We usually go to the one in Gadsden but since we were 15 mins away from centre, we decided to try this place and I’ll say I’ll never be back to this location. Looks very run down compared to Gadsden’s smells like cigarettes walking up. We ordered Buffalo chicken dip nachos, a pickle, milkshake an extreme milkshake. The pickle wasn’t a nice crispy one, it was soft and a bit mushy, no big deal. BUT the extreme milkshake we ordered was a banana split kind. after talking about extreme milkshakes to them, and looking on the right side of their menu where the extreme milkshakes are, that’s what we ordered, we payed. Waited, then they handed us a regular banana split after my husband said we wanted the extreme milkshake, showed them a picture of it from their online menu/photos, they asked if he cared if they blended the bananas in it too, I said that’s fine.. they also told us we had to pay extra bc extreme milkshakes cost more, even though it was their mistake, so we did. After we got the “ extreme milkshake” back, it was nothing like the picture, it was so runny, it tasted like a smoothie, the nuts were even put in the blender too. my husband was told, had they known from the beginning it was a banana split milkshake, it would’ve looked diff. Idc about the look, the taste was disgusting and I was highly disappointed! But again, we told the woman taking our order, she must have told him wrong. The customer service could’ve been handled a lot better since it was their mistake. Personally, I wouldn’t have charged a customer the difference for our mistake and I also would’ve made them a fresh extreme milkshake, not just tossed everything in a blender and pour it into a jar.
