La Grange - Chambéry

My daughter and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch here last Friday. I noted that house wine was 3,80€ per glass and over the course of our lunch I had two glasses but was charged 6,00€ per glass which is pretty pricey. I said nothing as I am noticing since moving up to the Alps and since leaving Provence I am being over charged regularly, maybe trying to get some extra cash in and I cannot blame them but it is disrespectful nonetheless. Enjoy your lunch but check your receipt.

Great experience. There were 7 of us and we arrived at 9pm unsure if the kitchen would still be open. We were made to feel very welcome and the food and wine were great. We had a variety dishes. Bread was absolutely delicious. Thank you.

Located in the middle of 2 of the best Restaurants in Chambery according to Trip Advisor we selected La Grange, as the other Restaurants were completely full. We got a good value for money. The menu is not very fancy or sophisticated, but the good quality of the ingredients they used, compensated for that. In total a good value for money.

The starters were frozen food (pork rolls), the mains were not cooked properly (we had the worst duck ever in this restaurant) and the desserts were from the supermarket. When I mentioned one of the issues, the problem about the desserts, the owner/waiter tried to lie to me saying that 2/4 desserts were homemade. The desserts were disgusting and we are totally sure they buy them in a discount. They shouldn't make fool of customers. Please avoid this restaurant if you don't want to ruin your dinner.

J'ai eu l'occasion de manger à nouveaux à la grange qui et pour moi le meilleur restaurant de Chambery. Des travaux de rénovation y on était effectuer et cette touche de modernité donne un réel coup d'éclat à ce restaurant, sans parler de la nourriture, portion généreuse accueille chaleureux et service irréprochable. Hâte d'y retournée
