McDonalds - Channapatan

After filling up at the BPCL pump, we parked our car in front of the restaurant and used their clean restroom facilities. We then ordered a spinach and corn whole wheat burger with a coffee combo and waited for our food. I was surprised at how long it took for our order to be served. A masala dosa at an Udupi restaurant would have been quicker and cheaper. The coffee was weak and the burger was not satisfying enough for us. Thankfully, we had some crackers in the car.

This has been a regular stop for many years now. This time, I was surprised to see the new menu. I enjoyed the new items and my family enjoyed the traditonal Mc Donald's Big mac etc.With good parking space, good restrooms and lso a fuel station, this is a must stop for all long distance travelers to relax a bit.In this visit we had a big surprise. The manager invited us to visit the facility and took us round the kitchen. The systems followed by Mc Donalds and the level of cleanliness maintained impressed me. On the way from bangalore to mysore we have recently stopped for a quick breakfast on this mcdonalds on a Saturday morning. I ordered a naan kebab mcsaver, a crunch flu and a coffee. all very tasty. I liked the fact that the counter-personal. friendly, the toilets were clean enough and I could pay with my European credit card.
