Hibachi Company - Chapel Hill

I'm giving them 2 stars because of the service. I love their food and eat here quite often, but every time I come in and request teriyaki sauce and an extra white sauce, they consistently say one is in the bag. I always offer to pay for the extra sauce, but they give me this strange look as if they can't provide it. Even when I order extra fried rice or noodles on the side, which I need the extra sauce for, I still get that awkward vibe every time I ask.

Great prices! The teriyaki chicken is packed with chicken, and I’ve never felt so full. However, it was a bit too salty for my taste.

The hibachi chicken is tasty, and the carrots are great if they’re fully cooked, but I'm not impressed with the rest of the dishes. The white sauce is quite bland.

Food was excellent for chicken and shrimp. Not so much for the steak. Prices are very reasonable and portions are quite large. We will go back.

Their teriyaki is so bad. I?ve had chicken and shrimp from them, and the meals are literally DEVOID of teriyaki sauce???? The chicken looked and tasted like it had been thawed and cooked the day before, and the shrimp was okay other than not having any teriyaki sauce at all and the burnt zucchini. I don?t get the hype!!!
