Chasing Sage - Charleston

Truly a phenomenal place!! We loved it so much we came back twice on our trip to Charleston! Each dish is elevated, beautifully plated, and tasty. The owner/chef Walter and his wife are so kind and welcoming as well as the rest of the staff. The beet cocktail, pasta, lamb, and chocolate cake were DIVINE! We will definitely be back on our next trip.

My husband and I enjoyed an amazing dinner here last night. We've lived in Charleston for 10 years and love the local food scene. This is a place you should NOT miss. One of the premier restaurants in Charleston! The food mimicked the fall season when we went, that was a nice touch! Get the chefs choice — a five course meal for $65 (might’ve changed). It’s a vegetable centric experience with a few meats added in (at least for us) A must do in Charleston if you want an unforgettable dining experience with a diverse collection of flavors. This is an amazing restaurant! I went on a Friday night around 9pm and we where seated immediately. We came with our toddler and we had a great time. We picked 7 different dishes from the menu and from bread service to dessert everything was spectacular. Perfectly cooked dishes one after the other. Chasing Sage was our favorite meal in Charleston! The food and flavors were amazingly inventive and we loved everything we tried, from the smoked donuts to the exceptional sourdough bread to the unique desserts. In a town with some overrated establishments, Chasing Sage is a hot newcomer that is guaranteed to impress. Definitely check them out!
