Jestine's Kitchen - Charleston

It was my first time ever to be in Charleston and visit Jestines, and I will be back!!! I had the seafood plate consisting of pecan roasted whiting, roasted shrimp and oysters. I don't like oysters, so they let them off the plate. It came with red rice and green beans, but you can choose your own pages. Everything was delicious, from homemade cucumbers, corn bread and honey butter and my food... Man was all delicious!!! The service was great and I will be back!!!

If you want to visit Charleston SC at any time, please make sure Jestines is on your list! The best roasted chicken, crowned greens, roasted okra, cornbread etc....etc... that you can eat everywhere!!! Brings back many good memories!!! Thanks for the southern hospitality!!!!

We sat pretty fast and our server was nice and answered all our questions. My wife had the fried green tomatoes and a side salad and she said they were delicious, just like they repaired at home. I had the fried chicken, potatoes and green beans. The chicken breasts were good portions and very good. We would recommend Jestine's to anyone looking for good South Cooking.

Absolutely amazing food! Had the blackened pork chops, mashed potatoes and mac cheese. The pork chops were perfect! Oh and coconut cream pie for dessert! Yum!! A must try if you are in Charleston, SC!

As a local, I come here pretty frequently. The food is always hot and delicous and the service is great too! Dana (the owner) always stops by our table to see if we need anything and knows us by name. Will always recommend this place!
