Dogwood Southern Table - Charlotte

We visited last minute for Queen's Feast, and this review focuses specifically on that meal, so experiences may vary on different days. The service was exceptional, and the cocktails were simply perfect—so smooth that I found myself wanting more. The portion sizes were quite small, and I'm not sure if that's typical or specific to the Queen's Feast, but the food was excellent. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try!

The service and food were both outstanding, earning five stars overall, though there was one unusual exception. What was meant to be Wagyu turned out to be sirloin at best. However, it was a delicious sirloin, complemented by wonderful flavors, making for an amazing meal overall. Everything else, aside from the Wagyu/sirloin, was simply perfect. This restaurant is a top contender in Charlotte's culinary scene. They even added a nice touch to celebrate our anniversary. Be sure to try the dessert—it's exceptional too! Our server was very pleasant as well.

My husband discovered this restaurant a while ago, and we finally had the chance to visit tonight. We had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly. Our server checked in on us just the right number of times. We chose several small plates since we couldn't decide on just one, and our server timed their arrival perfectly, bringing each dish out as we finished the previous one. We ordered duck dumplings, mushroom toast, fries, scallop risotto, and lamb pasta. Everything was fantastic!

My husband found this place a while back and we finally got to try it tonight and we had the best experience. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Our server came around the perfect amount of times. We ordered several small plates because we couldn’t decide what we wanted and our server had each plate come out at the perfect time as we finished the previous plate. We got the duck dumplings, mushroom toast, fries, scallop risotto, and lamb pasta…. Wow. Just wow. It was the best food we had. Our favorite was definitely the mushroom toast! We also got coffee which was in a French press and that was so good!! We will definitely be back for another date night!

Excellent service and amazing food. We were quickly seated and our waitress was very attentive and paid attention to she small details like providing extra utensils and explaining menu items when she sensed we had question.
