Wow! I wish there was one of these where I lived. These were the best pancakes and waffles that I have ever had hands-down. It was always busy when I did go. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area. My only complaint is that there are a lot of bugs flying around the food and around the restaurant in general and it was worrisome.
This place literally never disappoints. Grant it I always get the same thing, the chorizo Spanish omelette, but it?s that good I can?t help but continue getting it. And their pancakes are out of this world, I don?t know what they put in the batter to make them so distinct but they are amazing. Puts ihop to shame. My waiter was awesome too, I believe his name was Norman. Either way customer service was excellent all the way around and always is every time I go in.
Food was just ok. The cleanliness was not good. My family including my newborn were sat near an emergency exit door full of dust. (Pic attached) when we mentioned it the girl, she came out with a rag as if she was going to wipe it down while we were sitting there????. We also mentioned to a manager and he seemed unconserned. Another thing was a bus boy that kept coming in and out the kitchen biting an apple that he would leave laying on a shelf that also held theutensils.
I have tried to get here a couple times before, but always so busy. I'm glad I decided to wait this time. If you wanting the apple pancake, just know it takes a little while to make that...roughly 30 mins. It is worth it! The crepes were delicious as well. I loved the fresh cream. I really loved that they did not have a heaping pat of butter on the pancake when it was served. It was brought separate. That's wonderful for people like me that doesn't want butter on herpancakes.
