Feedback gevenOn a rainy day in May, my mother and I left Chaumont sur Loire Castle and needed some lunch. the red terrace cover and the lights ckoned when we came down the hill. they looked so inviting. we were greeted by a very nice lady who explained that they did not have space in, but we could eat on the terrace. we were hesitant due to frequent raindrops and how cold it was, but the pizza menu looked amazing. I'm really happy we stayed because the pizza was so good, I could have eaten two whole cakes! we saw back to dinner it was so delicious! we usually do not allow a pizza and the restaurant, but they explained that they would charge us 2 euros for the service. She was so apologetic, but it wasn't a problem. At least it wasn't like Italy and they accused us of simply sitting at the table! they would also not put an ingredient on half the pizza, so we simply removed it. no big deal. I don't think I wanted an egg on my pizza anyway! be warned that they don't speak much English (I was asked to translate for another screen) and the bathroom light is on a timer. everything worked from staff to interior and exterior decoration to the enclosed terrace to food to the entire ambience. this place is a jewel!
A restaurant that doesn't pay a mine like they say! But keep yourself well; a quality cuisine with a lot of flavour at the palate, very well-presented dishes, staff at the top and with a smile. I can only recommend this restaurant that I now keep in my precious notebook. A must in the region, not far from Blois.
Between a visit to the Domaine de Chaumont sur Loire and a walk along the Loire, we made a small gastronomic getaway in this small palate of flavors. All positive comments are fully deserved. The menu changes with the seasons. From the carpaccio tomato to the famous madeleine everything was beautifully prepared with fresh seasonal products. Shock taste guaranteed. The welcome is very good and the rope service. No time dead but no pressure either, the dishes follow at our pace. Small plus for home apero fresh cocktail and butchery. Anyway, we have to try. Attention, the restaurant is not very large (a dozen tables) mandatory reservation. Thank you for this pleasant moment.
We made very good to book in this restaurant. We were a table of 7 people and we had impeccable service. staff is very attractive and friendly. When at lunch, a pleasure! dishes are well prepared, well presented. Dignified with dessert that we had filled taste buds. Thanks to the whole team.
A very good little restaurant where you have to book because it turns thunder of god with inventive cuisine with fresh products. Everything is done on site and the recipes are made with product association sauces that give us beautiful and new sensations. The service is very attentive to the woman of the chief in the room and her discreet, shy and very pro employee. It really is worth stopping there, but as said above, you have to phone to book.
