Whether in beautiful weather in the beer garden under the chestnuts or in the cosy restaurant you just feel comfortable. The food is always freshly prepared, is plentiful and in a good price/performance ratio.
Gardening with burgers and more, all freshly prepared. Every extra desire is fulfilled and sitting under the chestnut on a summer evening brings pure relaxation!
On the recommendation of a local Chemnitzer, who had also reserved the table for 5 people for us in the "Höhenluft", we returned there for dinner at 6 pm. The small, rustic restaurant is close to a garden settlement and is also easily accessible by car. We were kindly received by the nice hosts and took place at our table. In the small map, the restaurant offers a good selection of regional and international dishes, so everyone can get involved. So we ordered the black beer 0.2 l for 2,60 €, once the land beer 0.4 l for 2,40 € (both from the brewery Braustolz Chemnitz), twice the yeast wheat 0.5 l to 2,80 € each, and a homemade garden lemonade 0.4 l for 2,80 €. To eat, put on Cordon bleu with fries for 8,50 €, twice the homemade sulphite with roast potatoes and remoule sauce for 7,50 € each, once the Soljanka (a soup from Eastern European cuisine) for 3,80 € and twice the baked Camembert on bread with cranberries at 3,80 € each. At the end, we then ordered espresso twice for €2.20, once homemade strawberry cakes for €2.90, an orchard from Pircher for €2.90 and four times the Lauterbacher drops (a poisonous herbal brandy from the ore mountains (but unfortunately it is really terrible and is nothing for unskilled) for €2.40 each. One way to the front, the main dishes here are all very lush, so you don't have to order an appetizer. The Soljanka (a remnant of the Russian occupying power) was well spiced and provided with a plentiful insert. The turkey cordon bleu was crispy and juicy baked, and came with delicious fries. The homemade **** was good and strong, and found itself together with defying roast potatoes. The Camembert was unfortunately a bit too dark, tastefully but good, the cranberries were provided with beautiful sweet. The homemade strawberry varieties were prepared with a lot of love, tastefully but not a highlight. The espresso was not so good, so small revolts arise in Italy. My advice to the guardians: either dispose of the coffee machine or buy a reasonable espresso bean, warm up cups beforehand. Otherwise we felt very comfortable there, even because of the really nice hosts. Oh, yes, in the winter months, the place closes on Sunday unfortunately already at 8:00.
Just very tasty and a nice atmosphere... you've been with your team since both.
Food is perfect. Very friendly service. Price performance top. Come on.
