We hadn't been here since college (16+ years). It was amazing then, and it might even be better now. Incredible food and service, we will be back A LOT.

I honestly don’t know how this place is so highly rated. They have an expansive menu which seems impressive but it’s obvious that they can’t cook some of the items properly. We got an array of items and was not impressed overall. Example: I ordered a chili relleno platter and the rellenos were encased in an egg omelette rather than an egg-flour batter and tasted horrible. Plus it was not fresh. The chips were stale and stacked in boxes that touched the floor where customers walked. I love a good hole in the wall restaurant but this place lacks charm and needs a serious overhaul with cleaning and more. I would be curious what their last grade was with the health department. PROS: The house chili rojo sauce that covers some of the plates was delicious and the house rice and beans are very good. But I would seriously recommend minimizing the menu and focus on items that the cook can make properly.

Ordered to-go from here this week, absolutely delicious!! Spice level and seasoning was perfect, will definitely be returning! We got the shredded beef enchiladas and the chicken fajitas, so good! Loved the chips and salsa, as well!!

I love this restaurant and I eat here regularly. I've been eating here for almost 4 years. Their prices are so reasonable and their food is authentic. Everybody is always friendly even though they are so busy.
