I only like Costa coffee so really enjoyed it. Staff ok as not to busy. I have the egg roll which is nice but the top muffin is always hard! And it could do with a bit more filling for the price!
Just popped in for a quick coffee. It was not busy but seemed to take a long time, there were two guys serving who are obviously not friends as didn’t speak a word to each other or look at each other for that matter. Long wait and such a bad atmosphere and to be honest very grubby looking I retreated from the queue and left quickly.
My wife and I returned to the original Costa in Sheep Street (there is a second Costa further down) yesterday after a few months gap. This Costa has been recently re decorated and furnished. We ordered 2 Flat White coffees (our first we normally order Lattes) and had a toasted cheese tomato sandwich and toasted goats cheese roll. The coffees were smooth with no bitter aftertaste and the food was hot and tasty. The carrot and walnut cake is the best I have tasted. Costa is always good for a comfortable break from shopping. Newspapers are available and there is free Wi Fi. The décor is pleasant and the food and drink never disappointing.
As you would expect this is one of the many Costa places popping up everywhere, if you are in a rush and need a coffee then this is ideal. Standard branch, you get what you need.
