Miner's Arms - Cheshire East

On Friday after a walk with my wife to lunch. eating was good, everything perfectly edible and the lunch menu is decent. service good and the owner (I think) was friendly, would be happy to go back to the future.

I recently went to The Miners for a birthday dinner with friends and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were extremely friendly. Our waiter, Leah, was particularly helpful and lovely. The food was delicious, with fantastic pub classics. I will definitely be returning soon!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant under new management, and I must say there is room for improvement. The staff were friendly for the most part, but many of them seemed to be college students or similar. Despite it being a bank holiday Monday and not very busy, the wait for food was quite long. The steak and ale pie was more like a meat and gravy dish with a square of puff pastry on top, which left my friend disappointed. My fish and chips were average, but they were very oily. The restaurant should step up their game as there is tough competition in and around Poynton when it comes to service and dining options.

I recently dined at The Arsenal after noticing they had new owners. The beer was a bit pricey, but the portions were generous. Each person in my group was impressed. I chose the gammon for my meal, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal, and don't forget to enjoy a pint of their house brew before taking a stroll. 100% worth it!

With a distance the best pub fish and chips that I had! great portion size and good quality eat. the child menu is also well thought out and the outdoor play area kept them entertaining! Five stars!
