Service was OK but cafe had obviously changed hands. Menu had no real main meals and the food was poor. Cakes were not homemade and scones had run out by lunchtime!!
This is a lovely tea shop . The menu has a good variety on it and our sandwiches were packed full of beautiful chicken very fresh and delicious. We enjoyed tea and cakes to follow . A good selection of home make deserts , spoilt for choice really. The staff are very attentive and friendly . We were served in good time . The prices were very fair ,I will definitely be returning .
This place is a fantastic discovery. The tea room is beautiful and the staff are friendly. It was bustling with customers and it's easy to see why. The food was exceptional. We ordered two breakfasts and tea for two. I highly recommend this place. The toast is thick and freshly sliced, which really stood out for us. The tea room is adorned with plenty of ornaments and pictures that add to its authenticity. Lovely experience overall.
Me and my mum booked a table for the Christmas lunch on the 17th. My mum had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and a lemon mousse to finish off. I had a cheese muffin stacked with black pudding, bacon, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, followed by a tiramisu. Both meals were absolutely gorgeous. Great service and I loved the crackers on the table. I took those home to pull with my son. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch. We will be back to do it again.
