Phil Jim's Delicatessen - Chester

I live in West Deptford, NJ and I drive over the Commodore Barry Bride to enjoy the Italian Hoagie made here. I can't find an Italian Hoagie who's made like Phil and Jims somewhere. As soon as I eat, I'll throw the sandwich until I'm running a hoagie in the future.

The best Italian hoagie in Philadelphia! They slice the meat right onto the roll. Absolutely amazing!

This is one of my favorite steak and hoagie joints. And they've added a dine-in area which is really cool showcasing iconic area sports and organizations memorabilia!!!

I had the most incredible experience at this place today! I was just in town for the day and wanted to grab a cheesesteak since I can't get them where I live in Maryland and Phil Jim's far exceeded my expectations. In fact, it's the best steak shop I have ever visited. The food alone is worthy of praise, but everybody there was just so incredibly friendly! I want to give special acknowledgement to the cook who recognized the band logo on the shirt I was wearing then came to talk to me a little later about some of the similar bands we are into. If I'm ever traveling in the region again I will definitely stop in again!

So awesome Cheese Steak! Definitely recommend to my friends living in Philly.
