Silver Star Diner - Chestertown

Excellent new restaurant with stunning views of a small lake and a friendly owner and employee. The price for fresh well prepared food was very good with all the ducks less than $20.00. Excellent homemade humus with toast points, shrimp scampi and salmon dish both came with fresh salad. Beer and wine are reasonable. In total we are back. Only proposal would be a starch with shrimps and salmon like rice.

I had the privilege to try many dishes they serve here. Totally delicious and affordable meals!! I am a new found lover of mussels with a thai curry coconut sauce that loves amamzing!! The special pizza are also amazing, a full size hand tossed pizza made to order. Who needs pepperoni if you can have ratatouille on a pizza so good!!! The owners Bridgett and Aaron are very gracious hosts to not mention Aaron's cooking.. Amazing soups, delicious pizzas, large portions, great burgers, Blue Plate Specials,ty beers and wines eat next to the lake, which can be better! Oh don't forget to mention Heilda,Cathy and Veronica there waiting staff who are also very nice and attentive.. Thanks Bridgett and Aaron for opening such a long gem and bring us an all-round restaurant with excellent food! I will tell everyone I know about your place and wish you in this new era of a gem!

Silver Star was an unexpectedly good find! It was a little off the beaten path, but the food options were varied and good. The brie plate was excellent. Our group really enjoyed the jambalaya special. Though the pond was overgrown with lilies and vegetation, it was still a nice view from dining room. Waitress very jovial. Nice place to enjoy a meal, together.

This place didn't feel like a restaurant, but more like someone's living room! It was certainly quaint and the food was better than we anticipated given it's rural setting. There's a lovely view of a pond out the back and the service was very friendly and prompt.

Good basic food, pizza was terrible (sorry) undercooked crust, tasteless sauce
