And it was absolutely delicious! The kartoffel and taro were unique and incredibly tasty, I wish I could have more. Review updated on November 12, 2022.
The snack was delicious, completely vegan, and reasonably priced.
The owners were very friendly and the food was delicious. The standout dishes were the potato and tamarind chunks. The location was a bit off, but if you head towards it from the bus stop, you should find it easily. We opted for the spicy choice and it had just the right amount of heat. They offer different payment options - 30, 50, 80, and 100 baht. For the two of us, we chose the 30 baht option at first, but ended up going back for more because it was so good! The 30 baht option is sufficient as a snack.
I was happy to find this on happy cow as I had a tofu craving and wanted to try something new. I was not disappointed. The fried tofu is chopped up with the bean/potato fritters and mixed with a slightly sweet sauce and some crushed peanuts. You can also specify the level of spice. I asked for a little but next time I would definitely request hot.
