Nebeb Ethiopian East Mediterranean

This is the best food I've ever had in Chicago. My girlfriend and I always look forward to dining here. The chef is incredibly friendly, and it really reflects in the food we receive. I would definitely give it a 10/10 recommendation!

We had a fantastic dinner! We ordered four meat and vegetarian combos, plus one additional vegetarian combo. Our server was incredibly helpful, especially since five out of the six of us were new to Ethiopian cuisine. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Yared, the owner, even came out to ensure that our experience met our expectations, and it certainly did. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend you give it a try as well. You won't be disappointed!

The food here is absolutely delicious—seriously, I can't say enough good things about it! I've never been let down by a single meal. I took a friend who is usually quite picky and always has something to criticize. However, when we dined here, she couldn't stop exclaiming, "Oh my God, this food is delicious!" It was quite surprising to hear that from her, which says a lot. The cabbage is fantastic, and honestly, all of their vegetable dishes are incredible. I highly recommend this place!

What a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere! From the moment I walked in, I felt enveloped by a sense of warmth and calm. Every server and staff member wore a smile on their faces, and even with their masks on, the joy was evident. I was already impressed by their hospitality, but the food truly blew me away. The injera was soft, with a delightful tang and a perfectly cushion-like texture. Each meat dish was seasoned to perfection and cooked excellently. The cabbage and spinach were phenomenal, and the lentils were well prepared and incredibly tasty. But it was the tea that really stole the show! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

This is the best and most authentic Ethiopian restaurant I've ever been to! My elders lived in Ethiopia for a few years, and they say the spicy dishes and injera here are spot on. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially if you're unsure about what to order. We come here all the time and honestly believe that no other Ethiopian restaurant comes close to this one; everything is just so delicious!
