Had surf /turf special. Both filets were overcooked. Service good. Recently had similar meals at other local restaurants which were a better value.

Loved it! Was a recommendation from a friend who was Local to Chicago definitely lived up to the expectations. If you are looking for Chicago Steak in a Chicago nostalgic spot. This is the place! 

Great location right across the street from the CIBC theater, so this is a perfect location for pre or post theater dining. I had the small filet and the parmesan fries, and both were good. My wife's fish was half good, half undercooked. Caesar salad was over dressed, so definitely get the dressing on the side. Server forgot to bring the shaker rocks for my Manhattan, and they won't go broke with the pour on cocktails, but he was otherwise attentive. We were in and out of there in about an hour, which is good if you're thinking pre-performance dinner. We had a couple of glasses of wine, and they were reasonably priced. Probably not a destination steakhouse, but we stayed at the JW Marriott three blocks away, and attended a matinee (2 pm) play, so the location worked perfectly for us.
