The White Hart - Chichester

The White Hart have stopped using Open Table so youo should not be conducting a survey.

We stayed at The White Hart whilst on a walking trip of the South Downs. We got upgraded to an Elegant Room which was very comfortable and the perfect place to relax. Dinner was delicious lots of choice and the pub itself is very cosy with excellent Christmas decorations

Excellent service gorgeous food staff couldn't do enough for you

Usually a really good meal an experience. On this occasion the food came out just about warm enough to eat. I felt like I needed to eat in a hurry. To be fair I was offered the option of having the food reheated, but previous experience made me say No as you often end up waiting a long time, whilst your dining companions eat alone. Also a bit disappointed that every other table around us received a sealed envelope with a voucher at the end of their meal. We didn’t. Perhaps they didn’t like my feedback?

We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was well-prepared and served with great charm and character. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will certainly be returning. The seared scallops were a highlight for me, while my husband loved the grain salad. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
