Cafe Asante - City Centre

The restaurant was average, neither exceptional nor terrible. However, I was disappointed to discover that they did not offer basic basted runny eggs on their menu. Maybe I should have just ordered a coffee instead.

If you're in a rush or just want a spot to relax, this is the perfect place to mix up your usual burger and fries routine. The soup is delicious, the sandwiches are tasty, and don't even get me started on the amazing potato salad! The staff is friendly and the prices are fair.

This restaurant is consistently delicious, friendly, affordable, and dependable. It's the best option in the area for a casual business lunch, which is why it's usually packed at noon. It's perfect for both business lunches and dinners. The service is always quick and friendly. The menu offers plenty of options that are filling, and getting lunch for two for just twenty dollars is a great deal. Did I mention how delicious the food is?

Go through the Scotia Bank to the underground Concourse to come here. I left when there is a big line and it never takes too long, maybe 7 minutes or less. I love the Taco salad on Fridays if you don't want salsa or acidic...cream, give it up. The workers are friendly, the packs are also good, and the guy who works is always friendly. You will give your lunch in a paper bag with napkins and a fork. Very thoughtful. There is also room to sit. I noticed they also have a cheap breakfast. About $3,99 or $4,99... is either good for a cheap Winnipeg breakfast in downtown.
