If you need a scene, this is not the place for you. If you have a quiet place for a very inexpensive drink, good conversations about the city, and, it turns out to see a delicious home cooked meal photos), then this is the place for you. Note: Parking on the parking directly at BEFORE Antoinette’s.
Rare Gem!!! But you won't know until you taste the food. If you go in you, you think it has to be closed and he pulls out because there are things everywhere. The place is old and needs repair. The owner and only employee is in the same condition, BUT man can he cook!!! I like the best restaurants I can find, but I never had a house salad as good as this, ever!!! All the food was completely prepared by reason and oh my Lord knows what he is doing! The tables, while extremely old, were real wood and as clean as possible! This place is a little shocking to go, but I recommend it anyway. The fine kitchen was not good!
I and my family have been protecting Antoinette for many years, and really love the restaurant. The food is always inventive, fresh and excellent. The service, which has been exclusively supervised by the boss/owner John Freitas in recent years, is also superlative. John is something of a local legend, an enthusiastic fan of our local lacrosse scene, and an excellent example of a locally owned business **** full of character. As noted in the three categories, Decor is not an attribute John concentrated on his credit. John revolves around the food first and creates a warm, welcoming environment for his moats, not waste resources on frivolous decor. The place is clean, and is serviceable, but do not expect to be worn by a dazzling environment. If you want to eat in a pretty restaurant, there are much better opportunities in the city. Some people may be critical of Antoinettes because the facility does not meet their standards, but in my honest opinion John has decided to largely ignore the decor because his food is so good that he does not need a gleaming facility for Woo customers. I hope he will be open on commemorative day 2013 so that we can celebrate my birthday this night.
Antoinette is the best and John is always a great host!
