Tandoori Corner - City of Knox

We have dietary restrictions with FODMAPs, but most Indian restaurants are good options for us. However, this particular restaurant should be avoided if you are on a FODMAP diet. They seem to use a lot of high flour or twill in their sauces.

This restaurant serves the sweetest Indian food with delicious flavors and generous seasoning. The Tandoori plate is particularly tasty, especially the chili sprout and goscht achari. Overall, everything was amazing. Keep up the great work!

The dining experience at this restaurant is fantastic. The place is cozy and the family who owns it is very welcoming. The food has a homemade feel to it. I tried the butter chicken and the black lentil dish, and both were delicious.

While the environments are simple, the house made eating everything, but and they can watch the cook hard at the work of their table. we ordered spinach and sweet and paneer pakoras for entree and they could see that they were not from a catering company. for the main the group ordered the chief chicken special, bark meat vindaloo, lamb madras and chicken tikka masala. my vindaloo was great with a beautiful level of lip burning chili, I also tried the special hull of the chef and it was full of taste. reis, rita and garlauch naan filled out the gaps and we left full and rejoiced to come back to a visit. service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

The Tandoori Corner is located in a small shopping center in Wantirna South. First impressions were that this could be just another run of the mill Indian restaurant, but that soon changed. We were shown to our table by a friendly, smiling waiter and given...our menus. The menu contains a wide range of traditional mainly northern Indian dishes. There is something for everyone, with fourteen different Indian breads, sixteen vegetarian mains and an excellent variety of chicken, lamb, beef and seafood dishes. We shared several entrees and mains with saffron rice and fantastic butter naan. I particularly enjoyed the mixed Goan seafood curry. Service was friendly and efficient and overall dining here was a most enjoyable experience.
