Piada - City of London,Westminster

Piada is the best place ever. The most delicious pasta, especially the pomodoro sauce!!! The workers are so nice and the service is amazing, Would give it 1000 stars if I could : I go every day

I originally ordered one sausage pasta and one mushroom pasta, but to my surprise, I was given two completely different meals! The staff were too busy chatting with each other and a customer to notice, which was very upsetting. I usually consider myself mentally strong, but this experience really upset me. I will not be returning anytime soon.

I am a self-proclaimed Italian food aficionado, having owned an Italian restaurant in London and being from NYC, known for its fantastic Italian cuisine. This small restaurant is truly impressive! I came across it by chance while looking for a quick lunch, and I am now back at my desk in awe. The penne pasta is cooked al dente, indicating it was not rushed and prepared fresh for their customers. The marinara sauce is basic but fresh, with delicious stewed cherry tomatoes. It tastes divine, even better than my own homemade sauce.

Had lunch at Piada as part of Mealpal and it was very good. I usually don't have Italian for lunch but this has definitely convinced me to do so. The food was good and the portion size is acceptable. It's very close to my offices and the I really enjoyed the Italian atmosphere at the restaurant. One downside was that sauce was very strong and I wouldn't mind a bit less sauce on mine, that's a personal preference though.

Renato's food is just fantastic, pop by for a fresh pasta or a coffee like it should be and you will be impressed by the quality of the ingredients, the incredible taste and overwhelming smell, on top of the great vibes and energy Renato and team are going to transmit you. To go back again and again
