This restaurant had a lot to choose and seemed really authentic for Italian cuisine. they try to trade like a chic restaurant, but are not that definitiw. eating was really good and the prices were not too bad. the waiting times were not very long and the staff was very nice. in any case recommend.
The reason that I’m giving this three stars and not less is because of the history that I have had in the past with getting meals from here. I’ve never had a bad meal. I can honestly say that. After today, I’m not sure if I will be going back anytime soon because of the treatment we received from our waitress. When we first walked in, it took a while to even get someone to take our drink order. Now I realize that staffing issues plague everyone, so we were patient with that. My little girl currently has her hair dyed a very pretty pink color. When the waitress finally did come to take our order, my wife and I, as well as our daughter noticed that the waitress looked down over her glasses at her, in a very judge mental stare, and it made us all fairly uncomfortable. When she finally came back to take our orders, she was very short, very direct and rushed through everything as if almost to get away from us. She did not come back one time to offer us refills on our drinks, or to make sure that our food was up to par. However a waitress who was waiting on other tables around us did at least check on us and ask us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. When we were finished with our dinner, our waitress finally came over, handed us our check, and didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert or if everything was OK. She handed us our check we got up and walked out of the dining room, paid our bill, and left. We all felt really terrible about even having went there in the first place. I hope that this is a one time thing for this waitress and not a habit. But if it is, I’d definitely say the service or hospitality industry is not for you.
Eh. I was really excited to try this place. Food looked great on the pictures. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. The chicken Alfredo was $16 and the portion was so small. The Alfredo was ok and the chicken was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The spaghetti was alright. With the portion sizes for the price and the salt I’ll have to give it a 3. I really was excited to try this place. It’s just ok.
We were excited to go to a real Italian restaurant. Soon we all were pretty disappointed. I am not sure with what to start, but I wish I would have read the other reviews before we came here to spend a lot of money. I ordered shrimp scampi which says on the menu it comes with salad, bread, pasta with broccoli and shrimp. The shrimp was extremely small, the bread was not fresh or Italian, the broccoli was completely omitted. When we stopped at the gas station store close to the restaurant we saw exactly that same bread. When I asked about the broccoli I was told that I didn’t say it…well if it’s in the menu then I want it unless I specifically say I do not want it. They offered to cook the broccoli but didn’t mention about any discount. I don’t want to take just broccoli without the whole meal…it’s not the same. The portion sizes are pretty small. We had a kids Alfredo pasta and an adult Alfredo pasta…exactly same size but priced very differently: 9 and 16. This is not a respectable Italian restaurant and the whole family was pretty disappointed. The food was mediocre over all.
