Great service with delicious mix of taste. Cocktails interesting and delicious. Appetizers delicious with good range for Vegan Vegan Veg forward. That's nice. Great ambience.

Great experience and friendly service! Loved the beets/tzatziki/pistachio appetizer and the photographic vegan entree, whose name I cannot remember. What a pleasant surprise in St.Louis!!

Many vegan options. I had the Risotto, Udon, roasted Broccolini and kabucha Bisque. ALL VEGAN! All incredible tasting. In addition, the service is beyond and beyond.

Akar is located on a busy block of popular Clayton restaurants and it is good to stand off from the crowd. The dining area is quite small and I recommend a reservation. We sat immediately after the arrival and started with the lobster rangoons. The rangoons tasted astonishing and the tangy mango sauce really put together the fried ringoon. My friend had the whisky flight he really likes, but wished she served more. I got the Gnocchi and my friend got the Char siu Chicken. The gnocchi was different than anything I had. I was really surprised how well the Malaysian curry sauce went well with the gnocchi. My friend really liked Char siu Chicken and said it tasted as if it had been sous vide boiled while still a crispy skin. We finished our dinner with their delicious chocolate lava cake with raspberry compot. The raspberry parrot was the hero of the plate and increased the warm chocolate cake. I will definitely visit again to taste their other dishes!
