I went out and will never return to this place!
If you do go here, don’t do an online order. My whole order was wrong and missing items. No chips, but they said they were out when asked, and to get a refund on the app. I figured it happens. Got home with my steak burrito bowl...there’s no steak, just beans, rice, a little bit of tomatoes, and cheese (I didn’t order cheese), and I ordered extra vegetables. It was so small, that I’m still hungry after eating it. Judging from the reviews, this seems pretty common.
Worst bowl I have ever had. After waiting in line for 10 minutes (only two customers in front of me), I was was disappointed to find out they were out of fajitas (no surprise there. They probably would have been soggy anyway). The chicken was the driest dark meat I have ever eaten. The guac must have been made immediately after picking the avocados off the tree. Loaded with hard chunks of un-ripened avocados. Is it just me or is almost every chipotle location garbage these days? Their quality and consistency is laughable. I’m not spending another dollar here.
I eat here about twice a week and despite the bad reviews I always get exactly what I ordered and it is delicious every time. don't order online and you should be ok. Also, they are always out of chips for some reason. Best time to come is lunch btw you'll thank me they usually have everything.
This Chipotle is constantly busy, as it's right in the middle of the sprawling Steelyard shopping plaza. When I stopped by, the line for the usual counter options (assembled bowls or burritos) was super long, and the overall venue looked a bit trashed. One bright spot: you can order ahead of time on their website, where there are options like quesadillas that you can't order in person. Here, the process was efficient, as it looked like there was a dedicated person behind the scenes preparing and fulfilling these orders. My order was ready before the promised time all while the regular line had hardly budged. It was a made to order quesadilla which was actually quite tasty and definitely beat anything that'd been sitting out in vats in the assembly line all day long. So, word to the wise: order something that's personally customized, via the website, for best results.
