Although, the restaurant only had two other tables, the service was incredibly slow, more than 30 minutes went by and we were still waiting for our order. When the food arrived, my food order was incorrect. The waitress offered to change it, and returned moments later with my food. Either way, the food tasted pretty plain. Our group size:5 What I ordered: Huarache de cabeza and a Jarritos soda.
To my surprise my party of 6 including two kids, automatically had the 18% gratuity included as if we were a party of over 8 in some fancy place for horrible service
Came in a Tuesday night to celebrate my graduation. Cakes ahead to reserve a table for 10. Which when we arrived they had it ready for us. The server Saul was very helpful and friendly. He made us feel welcome. Once he took our order of drink and brought them to our table he took our order, then he got busy with another table. We didn't see him again. Anther server brought us our order out one plate at a time, mind you out dishes we on the hotline waiting and waiting. She finally decided to bring me my plate by the it was dry and not hot at all. Incomplete dish I asked her for the rest of it with an attitude she said it was coming. WELL, I guess the tortillas never grew feet and walked themselves to the table cause they NEVER arrived. It was then she offered to redue my order which by then everyone else was done eating! This use to be a good place to eat. Now I don't recommend. It at all. It gotten to expensive and the service and taste is horrible! The restrooms were nasty doors don't lock. Women's restroom door is very hard to open. The added the gratitude which I don't agree with because the service was terrible. Never did they came to offer us refills or to check up on us. WE had to call out for the service! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME IN THIS PLACE! $300 down the drain!!
Good food and drinks, they've got a pretty good set up to dine outside
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Santa Fe last Friday night. I arrived around 9:30 PM and ordered some food and drinks. After my food was delivered, no one checked on my table for nearly 45 minutes. I had to get up and ask the server for assistance. She finally came over, and I was able to place another food order. When my second order arrived, once again, no one came by to see if I needed anything else. I had to get up again to ask for limes. After bringing the limes, I asked the server if I could order another drink from the bar, but she informed me that both the kitchen and bar were closed—this was around 10:50 PM, while a live band was still playing. To my surprise, shortly after I was told the bar and kitchen were closed, another couple walked in and was seated. They were promptly handed menus and served drinks from the bar. I observed as they were also able to order food, despite the server telling me it was not possible. Feeling discriminated against, I stood up and expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, questioning why the other couple was being served while I was denied. Only then were drinks brought to me, but the fact remained that the couple who arrived after me was able to order both food and drinks without issue. This experience was highly frustrating and felt discriminatory. I am requesting a full refund for my meal due to the poor service and unfair treatment I received. I hope this matter is taken seriously, and steps are taken to ensure no other patrons have to go through such an ordeal.
