Main Street Fisheries - Cockermouth

The fish and chips are great, but willing to wait a past as it is extremely busy. especially on a Friday night.

Nice chips, buy from here monthly and have been for years. Used to be a bit more salty but can add the salt when get home or leave as is. Love the chips.

I visited Cockermouth for a weekend getaway and had the best fish and chips I've enjoyed in a long time! They were perfectly salty and crispy, with tender fish and beautifully cooked chips. Thank you for a great meal!

We had an excellent meal as a family, enjoying dishes like fish and chips, a hearty sausage casserole, tender meat and potato cake, and a delicious homemade steak pie. We also tried the chips topped with cheese and gravy, which are definitely worth a taste! Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

A couple of days ago, I had the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! I would definitely give it a 5-star rating.
