Ordered the Marinara and got pale frozen calamari rings and mini shrimp you'd find in fried rice in my giant plate of tasteless orange pasta. Garlic bread was clearly BURNT homebrand garlic bread. Worst night ever for me and my friend looking to have some Italian
Went there with my Wife a while back and the service and food was below average I ordered spag and meatballs , The meatballs tasted like they were frozen packet kind and cold in the middle when served.Wife's spaghetti was cold and tasteless And to top it off was a home brand store bought garlic bread that was burned and cold in the middle! How hard is it to at least get fresh bread and make your own garlic butter ? Its an Italian restaurant right ? Will never set foot in that "restaurant " again.
I have been hanging out for Italian for months. Tonight we finally made the trip to Coconut Grove. The service was great and the meals came out fast, but we were beyond disappointed with every other aspect. We ordered the Cheesy Garlic Pizza as a starter, but im certain they forgot the Garlic and it was really oily. I ordered the Carbonara only to find that they used that cheap store bought packet Fettucine. I expected an Italian restaurant to either make it from scratch or find something close to. No flavour whatsoever and the salt shakers have one hole, nothing comes out. My partner said my Carbonara tasted like fish, but his Seafood Paella was ok. Tasteless, but ok. Everything was just dull and boring. Even our bottled drinks were flat? The restaurant was also empty. Needless to say, we wont be returning.
Good place to go if you are sick of the mass produced pizzas.Has a good menu, a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for and it is great food.
Cucina provided a delicious meal for an in-office meeting for 10 people. The ordering, delivery and follow-up processes were all flawless. We will certainly be using them for catering again.
