They were accommodating when it came to gluten-free options, and they have a full liquor license. I would have given them a perfect 5-star rating, but I wasn't a fan of the sandwich with ribs that still had bacon rind on them, and the pineapple pieces instead of a pineapple ring. Additionally, they only had three beer options available. Despite these minor flaws, I will definitely be returning in the future.
The coffee, food, and service at this restaurant are excellent. The scones and spinach tart were particularly delicious. It's one of the few places in Colac that offers more than just burgers. I was surprised that it wasn't listed on Google Maps because it's so good. Remember to look for the small street entrance to the café.
Best soup in town and it comes with a choice of a herb scone or toast. The salmon pie with salad is also a great dish. This is a fab place to meet up with friends for lunch.
Lovely spot for lunch with friends furnishings sympathetic to what was probably a storeroom for the iconic JG Johnston's Stock and Station Agency dating back to the early 1900's.
The coffee at this restaurant is clean and pleasant.
