The Diner University Of Maryland Campus

Breakfast is terrible here. Most other meals are mid at best if you get creative.

In my opinion, the campus dinning plan is honestly not worth it as of the year 2021 at least . I’ve heard from numerous older alumni, that the diner used to be open until midnight, which would honestly be idea if we’re almost paying 3 grand for an eating plan. I’m sure the school also knows that not every student uses their swipes every day, which is just waste of money, whether it be because the student is going through something or they just didn’t have the time. I personally work some week days until 9 pm so by the time I make It to campus all the halls are closed. And when I can make it into the diner, the food is less fresh when it’s closer to closing time (even though it is only 9pm) other weekdays I have a lab from 6-9 and things to do all day, it’s just very inconvenient that some students can’t make it to the diner during hours they may want too. I also believe there should be some kind of other system with the swipes, I believe I’ve used less than 50 swipes since being here and I’m not sure if the cost is truly representative of what each student eats. I wish change could be offered or announced but I doubt the day would come any time soon.

My son just started going to UMD and basically says this is one of the best restaurants he's been too. consistently good! what an awesome surprise.

I like it here and i believe you all should give it a go. all is good

I can not express my love for UMD Dining enough right now! They have stepped in (and up) to cover the food and beverage experience for our patrons at the ArtHouse. Their quality, service, and food offerings are spot on!! Thanks so much!
