La Isla Pub Bar Restaurant - Colon

Food was good, staff was nice. Price was quite good for the location.

We spent 4 days is the island and ate here a few times. On our last day the server was charging us $10 for a sitting fee -meaning that we have to pay $10 to use a table as part of the restaurant’ policy. We went for a late lunch and the place was empty. Food was good but service can be better specially charging $10 just for the right to sit and consume food. The table was inside the restaurant not in the beach area.

The owner was rude. She tried to scam us into paying for using the beach, the public beach. She thought that because we were tourists that she could get over on us. But this Brooklyn girl whose family is Panamanian had to let them know.

Great food, nice atmosphere. The best restaurant on Isla Grande. They do what they can to satisfy their customers. Although they had no ice for the desert, they proposed some sort of milkshake with fresh fruit as an alternative that tasted wonderfully. Too bad we were in the Isla Grande from the season. It would be even better with more customers in the bar/restaurant.

Good for beach front view with cocktails . The cocktails were amazing . Good value for the island .
