Drake's Duck-in - Columbia

Different location, same great food! But I miss you guys downtown Columbia. Main Street needs you back!

It's a simple restaurant with a simple menu. There are no white linen tablecloths or a menu on each table for a server to come and take your order. You walk in, place your order, give a name, and take a seat or take your order to go. However, the chicken is far from simple! Absolutely succulent, flavorful, and moist fried chicken in Columbia, SC!

The staff is extremely nice and welcoming! Especially for it being my first time. Service is out of this world. They kept it really clean inside and the food is 10/10! ! I highly recommend giving them a shot if you haven’t already. I love supporting local businesses and this spot was the perfect choice. Great job Drake’s Duck-In

First time eating here was today. Was on door dash trying to find something new and this little place showed up so I decided to give it a chance. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onions, 4 chicken fingers, and chili cheese fries. The fingers were great , fully cooked, flavorful, and about medium sized. They honey mustard they have a sweet and tastes great. The chili cheese fries were ok. I did not like the chili on the fries, it had a sweet taste to it but it was NOT horrible, just not my taste. The actual fries were crispy and the cheese they used was shredded not queso. I prefer queso. The chilil cheese dog was great. Oddly enough, the chili used on the hotdog was good and not sweet at all so I actually enjoyed that. Next time I choose to eat here I will make sure that I go in person to check out the brick and mortar!

Excellent hot and fresh food. The service was great and the wait time is less than 5 minutes. Went right back for round two.
