I also got what I thought was an amaretto truffle, but it just tasted likechocolate? I didn?t get one hint of amaretto and that?s my favorite, so I was very disappointed. I will say the marzipanornament that I got was pretty good and the only piece I got to enjoy. I ended up throwing away my cake :
We are so blessed and fortunate to have a place like Mozart's Cafe in Central Ohio. After 25 plus years in operation I still marvel when I mention to people and they have not been to this gem in the city. The pastries are the best in my view that youcan buy in Ohio with true authenticity to their baking craft. Every meal served up with class and the owners and hosts arealways so pleasant and accommodating. In addition to all the wonderful things they do, on special days (I'm not going to tellyou what day for selfish reasons I want to make sure there's plenty for me to buy , I believe they make the best Napoleons inOhio. They may picked up at certain times (which I will also not tell you : . I have pictures of these treats with thisposts. In addition, to the Napoleons who would not want their pastry box with their signature Peach Marzipans (they have 2 inthe box that always brings a smile to anyone having these goodies! All in all, I wish Mozart's Cafe, Anand, Doris, Janelle,Susie and Ben another 25 years of treating CBUS with their art and treats. Thank you making Columbus/Clintonville a sweetplace! PS, being a pianists myself, I appreciate that they have Grand Pianos all over the place and live piano music onweekends.
Amazing event! Janelle is fantastic! Very responsive and so helpful! I definitely will be back for lunch and events! I highly recommend Mozart?s. Food and service are outstanding!!
Due to the lack of servers, you are now ordering at the counter, the server will bring the food out. If you got coffee or tea, it's now self-serve. Food wise it's about the same. Not super good but not bad either. I had the veggie quiche, came with toastand fruits. All decent. The Live music pianist was there when we were (Saturday brunch) and played some songs. I feel bad forhim because not many people tip.
Mozart Cafe for breakfast is truly lovely. We were lucky to have the pianist there playing when we went. He played the Buckeye OSU fight song on the baby grand piano. Sweet! Food and drinks were very good and exquisite decor.
