Wein was crazy overpriced, even taking into account the restaurant charge we expect. that was in order, but not the prices we paid. the Caesar salad looked beautiful, but was simple and the croutons were so tender. the keilsalat was covered with blue cheese and dressing. the steaks that we have ordered (feile) lack of taste. my man ordered a lobster tail with his filet, and when he tried to use the lemon wedge that accompanied his lobster, he burned his finger when he took the lemon. we were informed that the plates were very hot, but if they had a garnish that they pressed, they should probably put it on another plate that did not 500 degrees. the service was pleasant and professional, but not excessively warm (our server wished my man not a happy birthday, but they decorate the table with confetti,) and we went long stretch where we did not see our server. last, and not a great thing, but somewhat incompatible with other experiences that we had in beautiful steakhouses, they contained no kind of recognition of the birthday. overall there are far better steak houses in the opposite and we will probably not return.
We celebrated my birthday last night with a most memorable, delectable dinner! The service was great, as was attention to detail.
Great overall experience. Josh was a great server, provided excellent recommendations. And great service. He was very personable and had great knowledge of the menu. Would highly recommend Ruth Chris. Make sure you request Josh. He made it a great night.
I’m not sure what happened post Covid but the experience I was used to was not even close the what the classic Ruth’s Chris should be. The bar tenders and wait staff appear to be more appropriate for Applebees.
