Ala Goa Hotel - Colva

This restaurant offers a peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and a unique swimming pool with a sunken bar. The wooden cabins have a Swiss chalet-like appearance and some even feature open air shower areas. Despite the older look of the place, the overall experience was fantastic. The manager, Desmond, is friendly and accommodating. The chefs, Nilesh and Mario, create amazing dishes such as seafood, steak, and pommes. The Alagoa special dessert and mango ice cream are especially delicious. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away and the beautiful surroundings make it a great place to spend a week or more. It seems that the restaurant caters to a Russian clientele during peak times, as evidenced by Russian signs and instructions.

Yesterday evening, the waiter served us fantastic fish and a delightful wine to mark our goodbye dinner.

The seafood at this restaurant was truly outstanding. The chefs here are superior to those at any beachside restaurants, and their prices are also more affordable.

I and my husband went to many different restaurants while we were gone, but you couldn't beat the food in Amigueiro. Never had a bad meal never had to wait the food was cooked before you and always hot.. Excellent service...from the staff especially at special occasions. Well done guys. x
