Little Bhutan - Colva

This cozy little restaurant on Colva Beach Road may seem like a regular small place, but the food is fantastic. The service is quick, and they offer a variety of momos, thukpas, and other hearty dishes. I enjoyed every dish I tried - they were all delicious. I highly recommend trying the steamed momos with Ditsha...potato.

This restaurant used to be one of our regular go-to spots last year when it was located next to the ATM. Now, they have recently opened in a new location in Colva. We decided to try out the new location and found that the momos were the highlight of our meal. However, the ones we ordered were a bit dry and tough to chew. The chutney was delicious as always, and the cool huh was full of flavor. They also serve the best fried rice here, especially if you enjoy deep, natural aromas.

I arrived at Little Bhutan at 6:30 PM today only to find the roller shutters down, giving the appearance of being closed. I waited for a while before a shop owner nearby informed me that Little Bhutan was permanently closed. I was disappointed as I had just discovered this Tibetan food restaurant in Colva and was excited to try it out after hearing rave reviews. Unfortunately, it seems that it is no longer in operation.

Little bhutan, is perfectly named to be small, but just like the beautiful place bhutan, although not much choice of food, but all well done whatever served. suppe thupka reminds authentic eastern taste. the owner is polite.
