Hwy 87 Cafe - Comfort

You can't go wrong with Highway 87 café. This is as good as it gets for home cooked meals. Save room for the bread pudding!

Food was definitely home cooked, large portions and good. Service was a slow, but I think there was only one person being the server and cashier. I had the chili and it was good, but lacked the spiciness that I was looking forward too. Burger was nice and juicy and fries were made fresh to order. Will definitely stop by again if we are in the neighborhood.

We tried the chicken at this restaurant and it was grilled perfectly. The mac and cheese was also delicious. Thanks to Yelp for helping us discover this outstanding place!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. If you're looking for a meal that tastes like it was cooked at home, this is the place to go. The service was exceptional and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in on the way to Big Bend and was glad I did. Had the hamburger steak and mashed potatoes with a side salad. The salad was extremely fresh and the meal was excellent. The waitress told about their bread pudding and i decided to try it. Awesome desert! Would recommend it to bread pudding lovers as well as others. Will proberly stop by on the way back home.
