Google Maps showed: WFM Coffee Bar and it didn't register with me that was short for Whole Foods..loll Right inside Whole Foods, directly to the left, there's the coffee bar. It has a menu loaded with coffee, tea, smoothie and juice options. Plenty of variety and you can customize your drinks however. Prices are Long Island appropriate. The barista seems well trained and efficient with her drinks. Got a large iced dark mocha latte w/ unsweetened almond milk and a double shot. Waited about 5-7 minutes. Tasted great!
I was looking to grab a slice in the old school pizza lounge. Unfortunately, it's now closed. The store was very clean and we'll organized. I bought a great local beer at a great price. I stopped by the food court to see what was available. My choice was half a beef burrito and a potato samosa. The burrito was flavorless and dried out. Potato samosa was delicious with a nice amount of curry. Crispy with a tender filling. Maybe one the pizza lounge will reopen. It was retro to the 1980s with a couple of pinball machines. I'll be back for beer and samosas!
In the deli department, no sign to warn that the fried chicken is extremely spicy. .In very small print the last ingredients listed is cayenne. I was so disappointed
Idk what is going on at this store , not sure if it 's just THIS particular one or a trend for Whole Foods overall . I certainly hope not. When I first started shopping there downtown NYC it was always an experience the sales associates were all so highly knowledgeable and treated each shopper as a treasured client ! My experience at the Commack store has been like shopping at a Walmart I LOVE Walmart but ones expectation of Walmart is very different than what I hope to find at Whole Foods! I feel like I 'm interrupting or bothering whomever I happen to ask for help . They 're either more focused on stocking shelves or chatting with co workers . I 'm very disheartened to find this. My review is certainly not based on 1 bad experience , it 's just about every time I enter. I 'd hope that the people hiring and training see this so perhaps they could redirect the store . Plenty of people need jobs I 'd hire some who get the culture and make sure everyone has that WOW experience I 'd always had .
HORRIBLE customer service. Every other whole foods i 've been to, the employees have been so helpful and willing to go above and beyond. The employees here don 't even look at you in your eyes and talk to each other while ringing you up. When asking employees to help they seem like you are seriously inconveniencing them. When I spoke to the manager about it he had the same exact attitude. They were out of stock of a certain item and I came by numerous times to see if they restocked and they hadn 't. I asked them if they could please call me when they get it in so I didn 't have to keep coming back to check to which they responded we don 't do that . Okay. Definitely will be going to another whole foods from now on.
