Sacred Ground Cafe

Everything was wonderful! Especially gazpacho, quiche and salads. Chef came over to visit and gave us some tips for the area.

With a few adjustments, this place could be great. I went twice and the girl at the counter (who wears a mask) is just beyond unfriendly and appears annoyed that anybody would have the audacity to take her away from what she’d rather be doing than serving customers. I do want to point out, though, there was a gentleman washing down the patio when we first arrived, and he was very friendly and accommodating. The food is pretty good, but way overpriced. What a great location though, with a great patio, just needs more reasonable prices or better portions and someone with even a little bit of a personality interfacing with the customers…

We just happened to drive by here on our way to the zoo and stopped in to grab a quick bite. The food was delicious!! We grabbed a coffee to go after lunch and we were very pleased.

Cute location with a lot of food options. Unfortunately the breakfast burrito was very overpriced. $12 for a very thin small burrito plus a 3% credit card charge and tip. I was expecting to at least be full but sadly was not. Won’t be coming back here again.

What a great experience! Great food, wonderful coffee, and great service in a charming place. If you are anywhere in the area and want breakfast or lunch, you should definitely stop by! Make sure you save some room for some of the delicious baked items. My only regret is that I live nearly 1,000 miles away and only get to come here infrequently.
