The palak paneer did not have the wonderful spinach-forward flavor I like—too much tomato, but the paneer itself was nicely done and in well-sized portions. The fish Korma was very disappointing, a shallow sauce instead of the rich and very complex layers of flavor in a great korma. Everything was under-flavored and greatly improved with fleur de Del finishing salt. The garlic naan was a bit doughy and soggy. Service was very slow and the ambiance is mundane—nothing offensive, just sort of stark and plain. That was not improved by being seated next to a noisy and hot refrigerator cabinet. They are just getting started, so that may improve. I recommend you head over to Himalayan Cuisine for a much better version of this restaurant. Not on OpenTable, but should be, while Momo N Curry? Not so much.
They are a bit off the beaten track, being tucked at the back of a strip mall on Clayton Road so I think they will get most of their customers through word of mouth. The food is quite good, the service is friendly and competent, and the prices are moderate. So pleased to have them there! BTW, there’s a Polish grocery store next door with terrific frozen pirogi to buy and take home after dinner... just saying :
Great aromas and plenty of portions. the background music was a bit loud and it's a little bit of it area that makes eating a little out of place. there were many people who pick up food, what looks like the majority of the company. we will try other dishes again.
Beautiful place to have delicious and quiet meal. menu has many articles so that everyone in their party would be able to find something that works.
Excellent food, excellent service. we were a group of 10, and all loved eating.
