You know you're at a good spot when you see Hispanics serving hispanics (but I am not Hispanic, and not fluent, so I was grateful they also habla'd ingles). I have had tacos Al pastor and quesabirria here, and it has been delicious! It is located inside of a gas station but has its own eating area. The entrees have been delicious, come with lime wedges radish cucumber and salsa (red is hotter than green). Birria dipping sauce is perfect- flavorful and not to watery or oily). If you want napkins make sure to ask specifically or grab off the tables.
Some of the best pie I have ever eaten. The Texas Trash pie was heavenly!!! Would definitely eat more Royer's pie on my next visit to Round Top!!
About 2pm, line just below the 3 steps in. Line moves pretty fast. Choices on menu outside and inside. Places to sit outside. First come first sits. We ordered trash pie and choc raspberry pie. Trash pie good but did not like the pretzel in it. Choc razz pie pretty good. Sweet and salty cookie very good. Staff behind the counter very helpful. The wood forks, hated them. Personal preference.
Not only are they great tacos but they are authentic which only makes it better !
I went to this Mexican taco spot on 12/6 for the first time and ordered 2 quesabirria (I think it was called) and two tacos. My husband and I just wanted to try them out and we liked them, they tasted great. We will be back for sure, the service was great, the man who took my order and pay was so polite and helpful. He even threw in a free sample of churrios.
