Dempsey's Bbq - Concordia

Nice old school BBQ joint. Good pork and great potato salad. Ribs were awesome. I'll skip the brisket next time. Excellent hand cut French fries. Super nice people.

Quiet, just off the highway and the food was great.

Spent $20 on a brisket platter. It came with 4 pieces of brisket and 2 sides. That's like charging $3 per piece of brisket... outrageous price for ok bbq. Spend the same at jackstack where you get a good portion of food and better quality.

I’ll start by saying I do not like going out for BBQ. I’d rather have my husband’s. On our way home from vacation we seen the restaurant was still open at 9:30 so we decided to stop in. It was limited side options because they were starting to close down and had already tossed a few. Let me tell you, I was impressed! Not my husband’s, but impressed nonetheless. My husband chose the sampler platter with slaw and potato salad and I went with the brisket and pork with baked beans and potato salad. Everything was hot and delicious!!! If you haven’t tried Dempsey’s BBQ, you’re missing out!
