Never have had a bad meal here and we've done breakfast, lunch and dinner! Service is always so friendly and we love the bartender Stephanie. Prices are incredibly fair for today's economy and the portion and quality you get.
3rd time in 3 years... food is bland (tried dining in and pickup)... needs to be updated and new bartenders. Ordered a shot and got a minimum of 4 of the lowest bottom shelves one can buy (wayyy over poured) Was like sipping Everclear! Bartender didnt mix the mix drinks. Had trouble understanding who had what. FOX on all LCDs /flatscreens.
So many good things on the menu. Always hard to choose
A friend and I needed to grab lunch in this general area on a Sunday, so I checked the reviews and open-hours of various restaurants. The 3 finalists were a place we’d been before, a sandwich place which may or may not even have dine in, and this place. We opted for this one. It is part of the clubhouse for a golf course, but it is open for dining to the public. It is located between DeFoors and Peachtree Battle of a connecting road. You enter the golf course community and the restaurant is the first left. They appeared to have ample parking there. We were seated promptly. They were about half full when we got there and filled up a bit more before we left. I don’t think there was a wait at the end, though. The diners seemed to be about half club members (small groups of up to 3 generations having a Sunday meal here) and about half just other miscellaneous guests. The décor was subdued, with a lot of paintings on the wall that appeared to be for sale. They didn’t opt for an over-hyped golf theme. Overall, it just seemed to be a relatively nice-but-casual non-chain restaurant. The menu seemed fairly standard. They at least had salads and a selection of sandwiches and burgers. My friend got a chicken tender plate with 2 sides. I opted for their BLT with one side. For whatever reason, they were not able to serve their non-fried sides when we were there. However, I didn’t care as they *were* able to serve fried okra! I appreciated that they didn’t do anything wacky to the BLT to jazz it up. It was just a straight-up bread-and-BLT ingredients version. ? The okra was good too. I’m giving this place a 5 because it did everything it set out to do well, and it didn’t do anything wrong along the way.
