But they have menus accessible via QR code on the table and paper menus that do not show the prices they are actually charging. When asked for a menu with actually valid pricing, they tell you that they don‘t have any. What‘s your problem, dear Casa Diego team, to adapt your online menu to the prices you are actually charging? I can help you with that in no time. Let me know. Charging people more than what has become the agreed price when ordering from the menu is neither okay nor legal.
Worst service ever, warm beer, no quality food. Do not order almejas de la casa, pre heated food.....
We spent an hour or so having some lunch and drinks here while we were on the beach. thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice staff and a great atmosphere. Cheaper than other beach restaurants we'd been to which which was a nice surprise.
This bar restaurant was absolutely heaving when we turned up on a busy Sunday afternoon but we were on the beach and decided to make the most of the position of this restaurant to grab some lunch. First of all, this is in a prime position, situated right on the beach. It is clearly a favoured drinking spot for locals and beach goers although there were plenty eating. The staff could have been pretty off hand but they were actually genuinely very nice and helpful and helped with menu choices. Our writer suggested that we might have ordered too much food so we cancelled a couple of tapas and it turned out he was right. Arguably, the restaurant could have ripped us off but obviously didn’t. The food we had was very good shrimps in oil were excellent as were the potatoes. We shared several tapas amongst the party and they were all well cooked and tasty. Obviously this restaurant could really milk their position but we felt they were honestly trying their best to provide a good service. The main thing was really the prices, which were higher than you would pay elsewhere. I would say that if you’re on the beach and feeling peckish and want to grab a snack, there are worst places to go and there is something to be said for lunch on the beach!
Visited here a couple of times just for a coffee and drinks which was really nice as it is right on the beach and nice and quiet in the morning. Lunch however was disappointing, extremely basic food and the mixed salad hubby had consisted of, along with the usual salad, a bowl of watery iceberg lettuce. Would only recommend Casa Diego for drinks based on that experience.
